Sterling Ranch Metropolitan District is conveniently located on approximately 1,444 acres of the most beautiful terrain in the northern area of Colorado Springs. Sterling Ranch Metro District consists of three (3) districts that are managed by Walker Schooler District Managers under the direction of the Board of Directors. When the District was formed in 2010, it was strategically located in what was the northeast area of Colorado Springs, but growth to the east has been so successful that Sterling Ranch is quickly becoming the north-central area, and a hub of economic activity.
The District was established with Operation and Maintenance set at 10 mills, and a Debt Service set at 40 mills. The District provides maintenance for streets, traffic and safety controls, storm sewer management, drainage, water and wastewater services, and parks and recreation amenities.
